1. Why this disclosure exists
The United States Federal Trade Commission requires that any material connection between a publisher and the products or services it recommends be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. This page sets out every way in which AGENCY 54, LLC generates revenue, so that you can weigh our recommendations accordingly.
2. Our primary revenue: service fees
The overwhelming majority of our revenue comes from a per-passenger service fee charged directly to you for booking work. This fee is quoted verbally before any payment is taken and itemised on your written confirmation.
We consider this the cleanest possible arrangement: you know exactly what you are paying us, and you are paying us rather than a carrier, which is why our advice is not steered toward any particular operator.
3. Carrier commissions
As a travel agency, we may receive standard commission from certain carriers or reservation systems on tickets we issue. Where commission exists, it is paid at industry-standard rates that do not vary meaningfully between carriers on the same route.
We do not accept override commissions, volume incentives or preferred-supplier payments that would reward us for steering you toward one operator over another. On routes served by several carriers, we compare all of them.
4. Affiliate links
This website may from time to time contain affiliate links to third-party products or services — for example travel insurance providers, luggage retailers or accommodation platforms. If you click such a link and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial recommendations. We recommend what we would recommend regardless, and any commercial link will be identifiable as such.
5. Advertising
We do not currently sell display advertising on this website, and no third party pays to have their service featured, ranked or recommended in our editorial content.
6. Testimonials and endorsements
Testimonials on this website come from real travelers who booked with us and are published substantially as submitted, edited only for length and clarity. We do not pay for testimonials and we do not offer discounts or other consideration in exchange for them.
Individual experiences vary. A testimonial describing a particular saving or outcome is not a promise that you will achieve the same result.
7. Savings claims
Where we describe savings achieved for travelers, those figures are drawn from actual bookings and are illustrative rather than typical. Your savings depend entirely on your route, dates, class, discount eligibility and live availability, and may be zero.
On simple short-corridor journeys, booking directly with the carrier frequently costs the same or less than booking through us once our service fee is included. Our agents are instructed to say so when that is the case.
